Privacy policy

You can use CribScan without an account. If you create one, it is the same account as on Fixatia (same email and password): we store your name, email address and the messages you send about listings, so that we can answer them and show them on your account page.

Saved listings are kept in your browser (localStorage). When you are signed in they are also stored in your account, so you see them on every device.

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure how CribScan is used: pages viewed, searches and filters, saved listings and messages sent. It stores first-party cookies with a random visitor ID; IP addresses are not stored and advertising features are switched off. If you are signed in, your account ID is attached to these statistics. Browsers that send a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal are measured without cookies.

Maps load from OpenFreeMap and images through a public image-resizing service (wsrv.nl); these services see your IP address when delivering files.
